I PLEDGE TO PROTECT MY COMMUNITY: ALL ORANGE COUNTY RESIDENTS. 

I will do everything in my power to protect our community from the excesses of fascism. As an immigrant myself, I know the terrible climate of fear that we are living through. Many of our neighbors, including citizens born and raised in Orange County, are unable to go to work or enjoy our community’s amenities because of the threat of racist raids. I will push back—hard—against the abuses of the Trump administration and the extreme, right-wing General Assembly. I will defend the Constitution and the rule of law at every opportunity, and if necessary, will go to jail, as I did on the first Moral Monday in 2013, to protect my community.
